Thank you, for the Brothers In Arms (BIA) series of games. Your games emphasizing the fire team concept, fire covering movement, are by far the most realistic World War II combat simulation games I've ever played. I have all three of the BIA series. Again, I appreciate your realism, but the tank scenarios in BIA - Hell's Highway (HH) are lacking the realism from your previous game. Why? And what happened to infantry supporting tanks in BIA-HH? Your previous game allowed this doctrine and actuality that occurred during World War II combat, why not the same in BIA-HH? I've read more than a few World War II accounts of tankers refusing to move without infantry support, particularly in urban environments. You got it right before, why not in BIA-HH?
As a baby-boomer and retired soldier, I look forward to your next iteration of BIA. I hope to see the combined arms team killing the enemy with the same infantry / tanker coordination we implemented during the winter of 1944 / 45. Respectfully, MikeN1956 |
