Hi everyone, long time no see.

I just saw the new demo thing on gametrailers.com.

First of all I think it's kinda boring that they made the whole thing accurate 100%, cause I liked the old system, but I can live with that. However, what can really annoy me is that the Garand looks off when he aims. 1st of all, the perspective looks weird to me. I loved it in the old game. Second of all, everything is in focus which is false. Just by "pretending" to hold a gun, you will see that the hand closest to you would be out of focus, just like the old games were.

That was one of the features I loved. Same thing with bf2.

So, do we know for sure that the blurring will look like this? I personally think it looks awful.

The front sites are more realistic now than it was in the fisrt 2 games,it looks farther away.but they definatly need to blur the rear peep site.
Also in real life your face isnt pressed against the rear site,you see some of the stock and even your hand in front of your face.
I own a m1 garand and a k98,and i really hope they re-do the sounds for them and make them more realistic.Mine dont sound anything like those on the game.

But at least the BiA ones sound better than CoD or something. I'm tired of guns all sounding like something out of Rambo. In real life a gun sounds like fireworks more than whatever a movie tells you. Pop Pop is fine for me. Band of Brothers has given us a very realistic look at most of the weapons so for me if it isn't a pop I can't even stand to fire a garand. I had to make my own sounds for DoD Source before I could even fire the Garand.
