You know Kloppstock90 you could overclock you cpu to 3.0ghz/Turn off speedstepping/ possibly 3.2 depending if you have good airflow. I have the same cpu as you and I'm flying now.

wow really? (i ve to say that i dont have much experience with overclocking a cpu) once i ve overclocked my old gpu( 7800 gt ) and i got graphic bugs and little black boxes on my screen... but maybe you can give me little instructions how overclock my cpu ? ^^ . just to say that i ve the factory default fan.and i have a huge casefan (radius = 15 cm), so i think the airflow may be good enough O.o .

Go for the x2+6000 3.0 ghz and the 9500gt,i got the 6000 and a Geforce 9800 and they are awesome,can play Crysis in Ultra,only got some framedrops when it's reallly busy...And also buy a new power supply,i got a 700 watt for the 9800.

1.Read ALOT!!!
2.Be patient.
3.Heat is your biggest enemy.
4.Always have spare cash around if you fry your cpuSmile

Good luck dude, that guide is everything you need to know. For me to help you I would have to be infront of the bios, and errr it's not possible right now.

the x2 6000 is not in my budget :'(
it has 500w psu btw

but with that system how will it run?

Relating to upgrading, I noticed that the specs indicate that "VISTA SP1 (only)" will be supported, not "just" VISTA. Well, I've had VISTA for over a year and played most everything out there with no problems, but I was always prevented from getting SP1 via automatic or manual update. I guess this means that I will not be getting BiA:HH. Do all of you with VISTA have SP1?

Dunolde I dont know why you have been prevented from getting a manual or auto update for sp1 for me I recieved mine from the automatic update.
My personal opinion on pc upgrades is to go with a 64bit pc and vista64os for future proofing as you will be able to make use of more ram than the 3gb or so that a 32bit system can give.
