Based on what I saw from some trailers and interviews, I can say that the weapons in this game - from first person point of view - look like toy guns.(However they look spectacular from third-person point of view) I think the developers need to consider re-modeling them.
Well I don't know, just compare the weapons in this game with the ones in games such as Medal of Honor, Call of Duty etc that also feature WWII arsenal and I think you'd also see that the weapons in BiA: HH seem a bit toy-ish. It would be great to see them changed in the actual release of the game because it would be a real disappointment, in a game in which %99 of it you can see your weapon in the 3/1 part of the screen and depend on it to survive, then to realise that it looks like a toy gun. What do you guys think about it? Wouldn't it be good to get better modeled weapons or are they ok right now? Well if you were too lazy to compare the weapons here is a comparison Medal of Honor Call of Duty Brothers in Arms |

Well, i see you have done you're homework freshmen
And by that welcome to the forums it's allways nice to see new people on this site to talk against .And yes meny gamers have noticed that the position of the rifle or automatic weapon in this case has shifted, i dont know the exact reason why they did it but the game will be launced as it is. And i'm pretty sure that the majoraty of us isen't even complaining anymore after a week or so after its released. It was the exact reason with rth30 i was a run and gun shooter, and i was real used to that, flankin and move wasen't my thing actually, but now.....i dont wanna go back. ____________________________________________ _ __________________________ jeremy Clarkson about Americans: "250 million w*nkers living in a country with no word for w*nkers" "God may have created the world in six days, but while he was resting on the seventh, Beelzebub popped up and did this place (Detroit)." _________________________________________ my youtube account. http://www.youtube.com/user/pershing22 ________________________________________ Go to http://www.pinupsforvets.com and buy a original retro pin-up callender to give a smile to our fighting men over seas. |

First of all thanks for the welcome mate
Well, I'm not talking about running & gunning down your enemies and finishing the game with a "One man army" strategy, it has nothing to do with it. You see, I'm just aware that this game's mechanics are nothing like the ones of the games that I gave as examples for the comparisons that I made. It's just that I've played all the series, finished all their campaigns and I was really pleased with all the contents they had, except this "weapons look like toys" issue. I know that all the Brothers in Arms series are as historicaly accurate as it can be, so I just wanted to say that the devs need to re-model the weapons so they become another plus in the name of historical accuracy for the game. |

the gun at the bottom of ure list, the little black one looks really really gay.

ehm... the weapons from your pictures are completely different from the others becouse all those games have a complete different style (i mean by graphics) so what i want to say is that you cant compaire these.

That is the M3 Grease Gun. It was used in Earned in Blood. The purpose of it was to create a non-expensive replacement for the Thompson that still work efficiently. It is a good gun(I think) and not "gay". But from the pictures I agree that the M1 Garand looks terrible but I think the Grease Gun looks decent enough. |

You got my point wrong mate. I'm trying to say that they need to be "re-modeled" not "re-textured", so I'm not talking about the graphics. Like, I don't know, the grease gun looks a little too fat etc |

Exactly, he is not comparing the games but just the gun models. And I guess the Grease Gun does look a little fat. |

Ugh-ugh....
Just look at E3 2006 and Ubi-days demos and see the difference. Not just this, but everything in the last trailers looks dumbed up. LoL, remember Pitchford in 2k6 demo talking about the "rifle swinging from side-to-side" and "first-person actor" thingie? Well, I can't see it anymore. This message has been edited. I must say, I am starting to worry about this game, and the fact that these extended release dates seems to be making it worse. But I personally don't think those guns looks too bad.
I think this is one of those games I may have to rent before I buy- which is a shame because I loved the first two...two of my favorite games. I just hoping this one blows me away. http://s9.zetaboards.com/Pretorian_Division/index/ Join the Pretorian Division now and fight for Europe's Freedom!!!! |

o and by the way, thoses pictures are from 2006 i think and if you compare them with the trailer that just came out its a big differents. o and that grease gun isent bigger if you look better you see that the gun is held much closer at hell's highway then call of duty. and you look at a different angle.
