Get them both. If you don't have the money, get a job, but if you need a job then you probably are too young for these games anyway. Or just look at reviews online when CoD:WaW comes out and compare the two.

If you want a good FPS you can go for CoD
If you want a good World War 2 game deffinatly (or sotmhin) go for BiA Wink

if you want a good game, go for BiA too Smile
CoD is a game like we've seen before, BiA is a special one Big Grin
if only BiA had Co-Op my orgasms would last forerver! forerver i tells ya!!

I think BiA will be the best out of the 2, CoD5 is gonna be made by Treyarch who made the disappointing CoD3, which is why I choose BiA over CoD5. Thats my opinion though...

Well I'm sold. Well until a review for pc multiplayer comes out for this game anyhow. So far it's not looking good but hey, your right guys COD5 is around the corner and so is Farcry 2 so no big loss. Game's like this that are hyped up in advertisements and colourful reviews by affiliated companies usually produce repetative. But, I hope I'm wrong, so until I see something solid on multiplayer I'm keeping my piggy bank under my pillow.

These same things were said about COD 4 pre-release because in their opinion COD 2 wasn't all that great but look at the numbers COD 4 pulled in with their game.

Treyarch is out to make a name for themselves with alot to prove because of COD 4's massive success, and they have all of IW's resources at their disposal.

Personally I am not gonna be quick to assume anything because I have seen BIAHH SP and MP and it seems very short changed to me, the SP is good for the storyline but the rinse and repeat missions get old fast. The MP offers one gametype and 6 MP maps out of the box, it seems to me that after 3 years in development they would have a great deal more to offer.

Comparison.....

COD 4: 2 years in development
6 gametypes outta the box
5 gamemodes outta the box
16 MP maps outta the box
*5 additional maps with all patches installed *(which I am not counting as Gearbox hasn't released the game yet let alone patches)

BIAHH: 3 years in development
1 gametype outta the box
0 gamemodes outta the box
6 maps outta the box

With COD 4's impressive numbers and success, and Treyarch wanting to make as good of an impression, I wouldn't count them out at this point and they will have released COD:WaW in 2 years from the release of COD 3.

I will be waiting for COD:WaW.

the people who play BIA are gonna play BIA.
its not a matter of one or the other.
for me, i will play both.
between both games, the 3 major fronts in ww2 are covered. how cool is that?
and, the games are only a month apart.
looks like party time for ww2 nuts like me.
now if i can just find a new game being released in the next month that covers Italy...

BIA V.S COD

When i'm playing COD 1,2,3 or 4 i notice one thing by all. It's just mindless shooting, no realistic Battlefield feeling. But just keep shoting and keep throwing pine apples. ( on the multiplayer.

On the single player, COD 4 is an pack of bull****, just mindless shooting at so stupid A.I. I mean comon, my grandma can PWN single player on hard mode.

BIA Road to hill 30, and Earned in blood. Is an way diffrent FPS, it's not like COD. You're depending on you're team mates, and not on you're own gun. And that is the big diference between BIA and COD

COD= you're weapon is you're life
BIA= you're team mates are you're life

BIA presents a different philosophy.
COD = me against the world
BIA = teamwork, planning, execution.

what i find funny and at times intolerable in COD is how you can run all over the map and run face first into a teammate who is on their own me against the world mission. very unrealistic.
i think MOH:AA/Frontline had the right idea about the me against the world philosophy with the 'secret agent' (USO i think) approach. it fit the game style.

BIA is more of an intellectual and self-discipline challenge.

Well the AI in Hells Highway is pretty mindless in my opinion, at least in RTH30 they would try to flank or get the upper hand. This doesn't seem the case anymore.

All that aside the comparison was about which developer offered more goodies out of the box, not which game is or isn't better. That would be chalked up to opinion and arguing opinion is fruitless.

USO raises troops morale.. I think what you mean is the OSS

Well i haven't played Brothers in arms Hell's highway ( but i have ordert the Limted edtion )

But as far as i see the AI i BIA, is that they find cover, and try to supress or kill you're team. And if they are flanked ( BIA EIB ) They try to protect there flanks

In COD4, it's just runnin to the eanmy and just keep shooting. You don't have to think by COD4 cauze you only have to shoot.

Well, since cod:ww isnt released yet we have to see about the AI. Sure its the same enginge as cod4 but i bet they've changed the AI some. Still speculation tho...
And as far as HH goes, atleast when it comes to gameplay features like prone, melee etc:
http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showpost.php?p=1368839&postcount=20

Thats what we can expect from HH...

And the post botman is answering is:
http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showpost.php?p=1368719&postcount=1

However im goin to buy this game. Atleast i know what to expect and dont believe the hype.

Been doing alot of reading and found out some interesting information about WaW. Thought it may help some with the dilema of which game to buy as BIAHH only offers 1 gametype, 6 maps, and no co-op of any sort. Bang for buck peeps.

Here's a list of basically every Weapon in CoD WaW, hope this helps and I put the link and there's a bunce of stuff like Beta, Future Call of Duty, Confirmed Perks, Upgrades, What's needed on you Computer to play, and a whole bunch more!

Makin Raid

This is what you all have gotten a glimpse of in the trailer that was on the Marketplace this past weekend. It starts with the cut-scene that you've heard of, you are on your knees while your buddy takes a cigarette to the eye, followed by a katana blade to the throat. His back is to you when this happens, blood hits the walls, and then the guy comes for you... At this point a fellow soldier comes in and stabs the aggressor to save your skin: Enter actual Gameplay...

To Find out the rest then go here:

Palelieu

Ok again you are fighting the Japanese, as the previous level introduced you to the "surprise tactics" of the enemy, this one expands on that concept – and the feel of COD:WW. This is where the flamethrower comes in handy, real handy as you walk through grasslands with trees around, you constantly need to sweep the area with your torch. The enemy lurks in unlikely spots and you need to flush them out. Hit a tree, and a sniper may drop that is tethered with a rope, sweep some grass, and a guy may spring up screaming while in flames...

For the rest, go here

Release Info (From What's Been Announced) 2009 (All that's been said)

Extra Call of Duty Info

Call of Duty 6 Has been officially been announced and it's going to take place in the future.

Infinity Ward is reported to have said, "We are currently working on a new sci-fi title, we cannot release any more information as of yet, we may or may not announce it at E3." (Speaking of Call of Duty)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Multiplayer

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Players:
Consoles: 1-18
PC's: 1-32
Co-op: 1-4

Some modes will have 2 players,8,12,and 18.(Consoles)

CoD: WaW will include four-player online co-op for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, while the console versions will also allow soldiers to pair up offline for local split-screen gameplay, with "a unique co-op mode for two players" reserved for soldiers waggling on the Wii. However, the game's online focus won't end with simply gunning down enemy soldiers and offering moral support to buddies trying to make it through the game's "darker themes." Activision notes that Call of Duty: World at War will shell out persistent experience points to players participating in both competitive and cooperative online battles, as well as a difficulty curve that will scale depending on "a player's experience rank and rank of the player's friends.

Multiplayer looks a lot like COD4:MW, in regards to the Graphic User Interface and Gameplay. Those who love the predecessor, will feel right at home. Party lobby, load screens, map selection, etc., all look quite familiar.

Perks – Yes, they are indeed back. To answer the overwhelming concern, last I heard, YES, Martyrdom and Juggernaught will be making a return. They will be balanced by counter perks and it's being discussed whether perks such as Martyrdom & Last Stand will be viable if you do not still have that perk's tool in your ****nal (Realism v Gameplay).

XP – Experience points are back, you can earn them in MP as well as in Co-op in order to unlock new weapons, attachments, etc. Again, Challenges take the place of online Achievements and will add to your overall XP. Keep in mind, what your skill is in MP, will determine what the AI is in online Co-op. Since you earn XP in Co-op, the better you are, the harder the AI opposition will be!...
