iron sights: proportion and perspective|

it's going to kill me if the final product retains the same iron sights animations as rth30 and eib. the proportion and perspective is all off. take for instance the garand, the iron sights animation takes up the full width of the screen, an m1 is not a foot wide. the perspective is from directly behind the sight post, although this issue has been contested, I don't think it should be that way, aiming down the sights of a rifle like that part of the stock of the rifle and a person's trigger hand is clearly in the field of vision. in a previous post about this, somebody mentioned the counterpoint of it being called a ghost ring sight because you are so close that the rear sight blurs and I just want to respond to that: first, you don't need to have your face right up on the sight to be close enough to "ghost" or blur out the sight ; second, it's more a matter of what you are focused on that causes the blur,you focus on the front sight and that's why the rear sight blurs; third, while aiming down the sights other parts of the rifle are in the field of vision but also blured, back to my second point, if you broke focus on the front sight and just moved your eyes around you'd see what I mean the the other poortions of te rifle are visible.
I know the devs don't pay much attention to the forums anyway, and even if they did they probably wouldn't change something like this because they would consider it to be "stylistic" and "their look" and would make some claim about it being to risky becasue this is what the franchise is built on and what gamers are expecting.yackaty shmackaty. |

u ever fired an authentic ww11 wepon? i have and bia is the closest ive seen 2 wot it looks like in real life. and if u wont 2 hit sumfin u need 2 av ur eye so close that the rear sight blurs out. uv made me angry |
