Gearbox makes the release date, not Ubisoft, I believe it was.

It's also on the official site if you want to download the high res version.

2 questions: You killed someone with your Hitler Youth knife? and is that a photo of your Hitler Youth knife?

First of all there are three diff. models of the knife.They are in the movie version (SPR) post ww2 version and boy scout version and you can get them for arond 20$ in a ammo dump...you do have to look tough because they are called differant.

2. i am a tank Gunner in the USMC and as a personel side arm i have the Glock 17 and yes i do carry a Hitler knife with me on a tour of duty...but not with the swastika offcours but with the American Eagle on it. And yes i do hve to say that i killed a person with it but i don't wanna talk about it...remember Saving private Ryan

First the knife i carryied was an original ww2 knife and the reason why i put it up in the first placed was that the video showed an American soldier face stab a german soldier with his bayonet knife,Me and Freeman argued if the video was correct and all with the place of the stabbing in the german soldiers body.

The reason why i...don't wanna talk about the 'killing'is because this site is not a adult site for after action reports and all, this site is and public site for he BIA game and fans...and this sound real strange and i don't go in it to far because i dont wanna give you nighmares or anything, but if you fight hand to hand after so may Months in the bloody desert with noting but time and you're tank and rifle at you dissposile you are egard to fo something.

Theres one way around that problem, lowering the surface of the terrain of cover just enough so that the bottom of the bipod sinks into the terrain making it look like its making contact with it. Also instead of having the bipod and gun as one solid model, give the bipod a pivotal point where it meets the gun like in real life. It wouldn't be perfect but it would be better than seeing a floating gun.

The bi-pods on ww2 .30 cals do not pivot, only the tripods and turret mounts pivot, if I'm not mistaken.


And I'm sure if they could make it work as you said (lowering surfaces), it would have been done many a game ago. Please anyone step in with knowledge on this subject, as we're both shooting blanks with this.

From my personel knowledge with the MG42 it that is did not only used as a bipod but was also mounted as a Roofgun on several vehicles.

You see here my own MG42.Currently going trough cleaning with a sh*t-load of shoe pollish

But the bi-pod of the German weapons is more....Profensinial (sp) then the American Design.The .30 is a awesome weapon to use. But the German weapon is more adaptable for differant surfacces (sp) and thus a bit better. When Baker uses the MG-42 in HH i realy hope that the Bi-pod makes contact wiht the material in front of him, and when fired the bi-pod should been pulled back to the force of the weapon, to make it a bit authentic looking.

see here the bi-pod version of the MG-42,hopefully playable in HH...

Thanks for the MG-42 facts, but that doesn't have to do with the .30 cal and it's bipod.

Does the bipod pivot on the MG42?

Well ...in some way's... yes normally from head to toe but it's possible. not that i'm a big fan of it,but it's possoble.
