It might me something small, but in these kind of games it's alot IMO. All those games like Medal of honor, Call of duty, i always wondered why the hell there's no blood AT ALL...you are killing uncountable amounts of enemy soldiers
and no nlood to be seen anywhere? This started to bother me bigtime...i had never played any BIA games before but recently i purchased BIA:RTH30 for my PC and what an awesome game , it all feels SO MUCH more realistic than any of those other WWII shooters, and i also really liked how there's blood when you kill enemy soldiers, blood splattering on walls, and even legs blown off by grenades, it simply adds alot to the realism....to keep a long story short.
I really do hope they keep this in, so that we will still see this in Hell's Highway too.

I was at the games convention in Leipzig and i was at the Ubisoft booth in the business center, saw HH private demonstration (the one we all know) a guy in there said "maybe this game can also be used for the more more younger audience, so they learn about what the war was like etc.." but IMO that would be crazy...it would mean that the cuss-words would have to go and also the blood and gore...unless they have an option for that...anyway...IMO not any WWII shooter should be for 'younger audience'

I totally agree, with the blood and guts. I highly doubt that they will tone it down for younger audiences. Have you seen the E3 demo, of the actual gameplay? that opening scene in the toy shop and the explosion goes off baker getting hit in the arm with a piece of glass and then some other guy pulling it out and there's cursing all through out.

Definitely true, but there's no blood yet in the movies we've seen, but that doesn't have to mean anything.

If Gearbox really wanted to market a PG version, they could easily do so during the productions stages. Save/Record two sets of dialog, and simply have a mod to handle graphics, and the sound bites later for the PC version. Or have a loading option for the console games

I agree with the language and gore makes it more interesting to me. I'm 30 y/o and very selective at what I pick to play on computer. I usually use demo's to make my selection.
The other thing is authenticity. I like to read books on WWII, watch documentaries, and etc. So I'm also hoping they keep it Historically correct. One thing I hope they add is more enemy to fight. In BIA EIB during the "Close Quarters" mission, when you make first contact with the Germans. Everything is blowing up around you and gunfire is going everywhere. Now that I love.

So far we all agree. YAY!

I've heard my grandpa tell me too many disgusting and horrid stories of war to think that no blood and no swearing is acceptable in any game about war. The swearing and the screaming and the blood is so realistic. CoD and the like just dont cut it.

Besides how does it make sense to censor blood and swearing? We're pretending to KILL PEOPLE! WHY IS THAT SOMEHOW BETTER?!

Well, i think if they add blood, it has to be realistic.....

So, adding a bunch of blood randomly would be stupid. Like you run in and shoot a guy and theres blood covering a buliding.. I think adding blood and gore adds to the general effect of the game for the better, but its something you cant over do. So, my idea of a good bloody game is, you shoot a kraut in the leg. You see a bloody mark on his leg of where you shot him (Like Half Life 2 and CS:S) Also, a little blood gets sprayed back behind where it hit him. NOT just a big blood puff. If they want a "puff" put it grey so it could be dirt or whatever is on the soldier. So, if the soldier is next to a wall, you shoot him, some blodo will be on that wall.

Thing i dont liek about BIA is, usually, a grenade wont blow off a leg. It will just char the body BAD. The grenade has to be right next to leg inorder for it to be blown off. So, if there is any casualties from grenades, the bodies should be bloody all over, with black marks all over them. (HUNDREDS OF METAL FLAK GOING EVERYWHERE)

The swearing, i personally dont give a **** for. I would actually rather not have it. I guess it adds to the atmosphere of the game, but its something i dont give a **** for. Just makes it so i cant blast the game outloud with my parents home.

everyone, everyone lets just cool it and think about gearbox and ubisoft's original plan. There plan was to make it as realistic as possible to satisfy their fans, not ruin it so people give the game and the companies a low rating. it was probably an idea being throw around, after all, it was infact a confrince. they know they would wreck it for their older fans everywhere. so lets just oput it into perspective

I would really like it if bodies did NOT disappear to the end of the mission. so at the end of the mission there are bodies everywhere parts of buildings blowup and destroyed tanks in the streets. this would really add to the Battlefield feeling.
