how come they're wearing M-43s? they're dead by the time M-43s came into use. Also, if they are Allen and Garnett, how come the 101st AB. patch is not White, Black, red and gold. Why subdued? M-42s Have the original color of the AB patch. So it isn't Allen and Garnett

You still fail to recognize that that picture was generated with the HH engine, UE3.5


With that said, the engine is only able to generate models and skins that have already been made, and since the game isn't finished yet, not all of the models, animations, and skins are complete, so there are bound to be some errors in it.

Further more, talking about the lack of gold and white on the 101st patch, that has nothing to do with the m43 uniform they are wearing, its minor detail that hasn't been put in by the developers at gearbox.

The 101 patch has always been black gold and white.

As I said, Its a flash back from the chapter "those We Lost"

Particularly the flash back of the moment before Allen and Garnet were killed, if you notice, Legget is in the background. The only time Legget is with Allen and garnet in the entire game is when they are about to die. Garnet was the one that picked up the death pistol from George, Bakers friend, when he died in the tank.

So that explains everything. Uniform means nothing at this point, the models are all dressed like they are in Holland because thats how the game engine worked at that time it was taken.

Good job Fire! Also we can sit back and knit-pick a lot of things but in the end Ubisoft has to ask themselves how far they want to delve into the realism factor and how much work to do with it. Randy already said that it will be the most realistic WW2 game but people will still be able to find things that weren't changed due to the fact that the overall gameplay benefited from them not being changed.

notice that Legget's uniform is more "tan" than the other two.....

ltdog, that is a good observation! The reason is because Leggets character would not have the more green uniforms because a model of him with them would not have been necessary since he was not alive when they were used. Like Fire said the other two guys uniforms are the greener color because of the models that were used during the test. So now everyone knows that there isn't an error it is just a test.

About that media blitz....Fire do you just have a feeling or premonition or do you have the inside scoop? Hopefully that media blitz will include a demo sometime soon since one was promised, we just don't know whether or not it will be before or after release(hoping for before by a couple of weeks)!!!!!

its not a premonition, a couple of the developers have been talking about it for the last week or so saying in the next few weeks we will see more about HH
