hi people,
i saw the Ubidays gameplay and quess what? it was great! ( i enjoyed it) here's a link u can see ( leaked ) from gametrailers.com: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/68508.html but 1 thing what i saw was weird... Baker had a M1A1 Thompson Sub Machine gun and a M1 Garand when he was in 3rd person with cover system, he had a Garand in his hands, but i didn't saw the thompson sub machine gun on his shoulder. Also i want to see is when he is switching to Thompson/Garand in 3rd person. I like to see some comments please. Thank You Btw, do i got a great eye for details? This message has been edited. Maybe he put the Thompson in his pocket like how other games do it(GTA,Saints Row,etc.).It would be nice to see the gun on his back when not using it.

Way to many games do the pocket thing. This game should stick out by having him carry a weapon on his back instead of in his pocket.

if its going to be like that he should have a big duffel bag of bullets and grenades...

emm..we are talking about weapons...not nades |

im just saying if you want to see his equipment, there are a ton of bullets for each gun and more than 2 grenades im sure, just showing his gun strapped on his back would be stupid considering how much other **** he hauls around, especially since u can pick upp an MG42 so thats like 3 guns, im sure u cant cylce through guns when u hold the mg42 but still u would move like an old man with that equipment. OR! what if u just want to use ur m1 but always have to seee that thompson or vice versa, for entertainments sake this is the most authentic in terms of historical accuracy in maps and battles not how REAL the equipment can get

when he used the mg42, he dropped his thompson on the ground...
he didn't had 3 weapons..still i don't get the grenade part This message has been edited. Last edited by: killerbee1992, |

the m1 rounds r in an ammo belt.
the tommy rounds in an ammo vest. the inactive wep on the sholder. the nades in 1 of the 5 nade loops or pokets on the front of the uniform. kk? u ok with that? well if ur not thats how it is in real life. |

he's got more clips than his jacket can hold, tom hanks in SPR had a little baggy on the side of his jacket where he put his clips, maybe baker should have one of those u smart A S S! why are u so argumentative? its not going to help anyone unless you run to gearbox an put a gun to your head demanding a change

ArmA is the only game ive seen that the guy actually put his weapons on his back when not using them and can sometimes impede your line of sight

Leeham, you need to stop making smarta** remarks and pick up a freaking book...
First off, about the ammunition storage.. The "real paras" had the same form of ammunition storage as the leg infantry. They had a cartridge belt, which could hold 10 M1 clips, and then one more clip already in the gun. So if you just take that into account, they had 11 clips standard. Now some paratroopers had "rigger modified" pouches that held about 5 clips per pouch, yet were very clumsy and didnt see much use within the 502nd P.I.R. So that is pretty much ruled out of the equation. Also, troops did carry ammunition elsewhere on their person, and it was very common for them to carry loose rounds along with them, as it took up less room than more enblocs. That happened quite a bit, but still has no place being represented. And the little "ammo vest" you talked about, please... The assault vest was given in small numbers, that is VERY small numbers to the infantry landing on D-Day, and were not even seen by paratroopers. On top of which, they were pretty much all ditched by D+5, as they were extremely cumbersome, hot and heavy. You sir have no right at ALL to go calling fellow members morons, especially on a subject you obviously no nothing about. I highly suggest you open a book before you let your trap go like that. -M1 |
