so will any of the survivors from 2nd squad that were in earned in blood be in baker's recon squad. also why is baker in a recon squad in hell's highway and in the other two games he was in a normal squad?

SSgt. Baker should be Lt. Baker?
You would often get a high ranking NCO (SSgt or Sgt.Maj) leading a platoon instead of a junior officer. This could be because the original platoon commander was killed, there just weren't enough officers to go around or they would rather have an experienced normandy veteran leading the patrol.
