I have bought the special edition,
And been following and playing The
BIA series from the begining, cause mostly
I love the WWII American AirBorn history...

This HH is awesome, sure it will take some
patchs to be perfect, but its a awesome oustanding game, in every way, the story
the way its built and the game graphics , I love it , still playing it, and will play it again when finished this first time...


I would love some expertes there to Mod it,
and also would love a free expansion fpr us that
were some how wanting more missions to play...

So an "awesome" game needs a patch and modification in your opinion.

I'd hate to see what you want done to an "average" or "terrible" game...

It is preaty obviouse what I ment by saying that is awesome...

The fact fact is that awesome doesn't mean its free of bug...
A good and nice and awesome creation can have
is bad parts that can be corrected...

Also what I ment by Modding is some single player missions and maybe extra guns and skins
that will give a lot more choices and game play
to a allready oustanding game...

I have been Modding Silent Hunter 3 for 2 or 3 years and from the begining I said it was a oustanding and awesome game, that got even better with the community modding that come out during the games life time...

You can always improve and had a lot into a game, what you can not is whanting everyone to be happy with a Game or Mod that you might release...Diferent tastes diferent opinions...
Diferents opinions diferent ideas and put that to work toghether with constructive critics
you can actualy improve a good oustanding game..

I just don't buy average or terrible games...

Anyway this was mi opinion...
sure you're free to disagree or agree with it...

But mi opinion was and is the stated above over the first post...

I have finaly finished the Veteran mode
and have my final word on the game overall...

Things I would like to see changed or improved :

- We defenetly should be able to decide what gun
we prefer has a maine weapon before each mission

- The thompson haves on some part of the midle
game a improved magazine that I dislike and
could be optional to use it or not, Medal of Honor Air Born haves a very intresting weapon
improvement that in this game would fit like a sharm, or similar...

- Tank missions are of no need, I never liked tank simulation and am very disapointed with this tank mission stuff, this is a squad tactic based game and not a tank simulator, we should stick to Air born units and ther equipement and
way of fighting...

- In the train station you use 3 squads but you
have to find youself the Panzershreck left on
the field by a german soldier, 3 teams to fight
against tanks that gladly are not very smart (?!)...

- Again like a lot of us said in this forums, solo missions loke a lot like Doom missions and are not in the game bases, completly out of
logic and it looks more like missions to give
more game then to real squad tactics game...

- I missed the Air Born smoke granades that can be usefull to cover squad movements sometimes...

- If you want to give weapons in the begining of
each mission you should think in hading them on any of the reload ammo drop points that you have
on the batle zones...

- a lot of times members of my squads got injuerd cause they cover themselfs on the rong side of the cover when advancing...


Things I loved in the game:


- The game haves a great story and cinematics are well placed and awesome, the end sceen its great and the all story is very good and realy
gets you into the game Athmosfere...

- graphics are great and very realistic, thought
there are some stuff like bulet marks and craters from explsosions in some ocasions...

- I loved the all game but the tank and solo missions...but even that didn't ruined the great work you guys have done thanks...

Without a patch i wouldn't give it 5 stars. SP alone 4.5--but MP is where it is lacking big time. I watched a trailer saying how the MP was going to be quite new and exciting but the end result was an underdeveloped MP portion of the game.

Now with a MAJOR patch that fixes all of the flaws, i would say it is a excellent game. The question is, will they release a major content patch that adds new modes and server capabilities to MP?

My only fear is that their patch only fixes bugs and not the lack of development in MP. But hopefully Ubisoft and Gearbox arent like EA that have disappointed me on games in the past...Crysis MP /vomit.

But by watching the trailers and developer diaries, it really seemed like these guys cared about this game with a passion. I just hope they are all given the opportunity by Gearbox and Ubisoft to work on an excellent patch.

So dudes, is this game worth $50?

Yes, I think it's worth $50.00, but you can get the Hell's Highway Limited Edition for $24.99 (free shipping within the U.S.) at Newegg. They did have the standard edition for $9.99 not too long ago, but it sold out quickly.

Note: I don't play multiplayer, so I can't offer an opinion in that regard, but the single-player portion of the game is good. It plays just like the previous two installments with much better graphics and a cover (dig in) command similar to that used in Gears of War and Rainbow Six Vegas. Just make sure you have the hardware to run this game.
