OK, so I've said this before but I've just reached the Eindhoven industrial area point again in authentic mode and had to suffer the opening video of the British tank commander speaking to Baker with that dire Scottish accent again (plus subtitles). I am from Scotland and as far as I can see there can be no other explanation for this nonsense other that it is a calculated insult to all Scottish people by the 'Yanks' who write this nonsense. The writers can replicate an almost perfect Cokney accent (which one of them is English then?) but feel that is necessary to ridicule the Scots. This is a great game but is tainted with racism so I have finished with it for good. My father told us about the war (and yes he fought through the Europe campaign) and he said that the yanks were more of a danger to him than the Germans. The closest that he got to being shot was by a drunk and incapable American soldier. Says it all! I don't care if nobody replies to this because it's my last post anyway.

What exactly did the tank commander say? My short term memory is shot.

Well, thanks to the Scots and my parent's brilliant fashion sense, I had to wear a plaid skirt and white socks to school every day. That combined with dental braces and it was pure hell. They insisted that I take my musical instrument with me as well, but that's where I drew the line. I told them that I couldn't carry the bagpipes and my backpack at the same time.

JUST KIDDING!!!

Americans love the Scots. A handful of belligerents do not represent society as a whole.

I thought the tank commander was part of the Irish Guards, making him Irish.

Oh, we don't eat it; we just like to throw 'em up against the wall so we can hear 'em go "SMACK", then we snicker and drink the beer.
