I'm at Chapter 5, "Operation Garden", at the sniper part (objective "Protect Pieter"). I died, then I restarted at the last checkpoint, but without the sniper. There's another sniper next to the ammo pile, but I can't pick it up, so I'm stuck. How can I get through this part?

You should still have it, just switch weapons.
