I'm making a mod which takes place underwater in the far cry engine. My biggest problem thus far is that every entity in the game has a natural tendency to float to the top! I tried the built in shark entity, along with other built in entities, and they all float to the top of the water in my map, no matter where their starting position is.
So I dug into the code, which I have become somewhat familiar with over the course of developing my mod. First instinct told me to change the mass of my fish entity, since that's what effects buoyancy in real life. I went into SCRIPTS\Default\Entities\AI and changed it in my entity AI script where the mass setting resides. To make a long story short, it didn't work!
