I have placed a bunch of physicalized boxes in my multiplayer map. I seem to be able to push them around fine when I test my level within the sandbox; but when i try to host the map in-game, the boxes seem to be frozen, unable to move except if i shoot or chop them with the machete. I cant seem to be able to push them around...
Has anyone else seen this and found a solution?

Yes, and there's no solution, it would require some coding to add it.
Anyways what are you doing putting physicalized boxes in a multiplayer map? You know it will cause network lag, right?

what type of boxes do you recommend instead, is it just a case of putting in a "brush"-box?

so could you get a non physicalised box to explode in mp? Dazed

in the halflife 2 demo video there was a short piece with the cs under hl2 engine, and the boxes there was physicalised in multiplayer, i think its possible if you keep the number of boxes under a sertain number, to not overwhelm the networkcode, ofcourse if there is no code for this to happen yet, someone will have to make code for it when the sdk is out, but i dont think that will be a problem.

i for one think it will make the game a lot more exiting with boxes that move when grenades go off and such in multiplayer.

i was actually a bit surprised over how little you can affect in multiplayer in this game.

bf1942 has a lot more physical objects than this game for some reason, fex the rockslides in dc.

Try actually doing a search of the forums, this has been discused and resolved many times.

Marco from crytek, told us how to implement physic objects.

look for 'multiplayer petition' thread.

Where are those physicalized objects? I cant find them.

Ild like to construct a bridge, like those in the Singleplayer-Map "Carrier". (With a chain, and so on)

Bot now I have some new questions:

1. How can I create a waterfall? I found the "waterfall_a" and the "waterfall_big" in the "particle_effects_etc" Folder. But that one is very small. I saw bigger ones on some screenshots. So how to create them?

2.How can i create lakes and rivers?

OK, now your getting into the areas that are covered by the manual Veryhappy

I know its painful, but to get the most out of the Editor and even the basics covered, I really would suggest to read the Official manual and Aeon's Manual, both of which will be in your FarCry/Support folder
