Can I inform UBI, should they read this, that this gentleman applied for the CryEngine licence via Crytek and was turned down. He then proceeded to breach copyright of Cryteks product plus others and sell the CryEngine without authorisation. He cannot be trusted and has been banned from all Crytek Sites.
Just a friendly heads up from one Dev to another. |

Dear Clivey,
1st of all, I am so sorry that CryTek works with someone like you, who is from the first time that he know that I am "Arabian", started attacking me theire and now here. Man, We are working in technology fieeld, not political one. So please, shut up, or talk honestly. Consider Loyalities, We are working 100% rights, and if you have any proof, show us. I am the CEO of W3DTEK, and the Games Solutions Manager @ 2Digital.tv, and a registered partner @ Microsoft and have amazing contacts with Adobe, so please dont talk like this ****s anymore. Howver, again, UBI, I am contacting you to get a license for releasing a commercial MOD for FarCry, and Mr. "Harald Seely" @ CryTek, Told me that all the copyrights of the game are now belong to you, For this I am contacting you. My MOD is fully developed from about 6 monthes and I didn't released it till now due to copyrights. I am not cracker nor hacker man, and for CryTk banned, agagin, this is for political reasons and not technical ones. However, If all the world attack us, we (arabs) we will show guys like you that we are one of the best, CLEIVY. |

1. Hassan, unfounded allegations of racial or religous discrimination are a violation of the terms of use for this forum.
Please refrain form posting in such a manner. If you feel you can substantiate a legitimate complaint relating to peoples actions on this site, please direct it to the moderators or forum managers via PM. 2. I find it a little strange that such a well connected CEO would be using a public forum for such a request. Can I suggest that you utilise the contact details for Ubisoft which can be found here. While there is not an office in the Lebanon, you can see contact details for the EMEA head office, as well as dedicated contacts in some EU countries for "specialist game enquiries". 3. I am not a Ubi employee, so cannot speak on their behalf in this matter, but my personal interpretation of the press release regarding the purchase of FC IPR by Ubisoft was that while they are the owner of the Far Cry name, and had the right to use CE1 themselves, the rights to any "other" commercial use of CE1 was still owned by Crytek. If the forum staff can clarify that belief I am sure they will update this post. I hope that helps /Thread closed CuZ Obsidian Edge 2 - OE2 Media Hub: All your OE2 Media Updates, interviews etc... Obsidian Edge 2 - Tactical Realism Modification for Crysis and CryEngineTM2 |
