I don't think you can configure it for Far Cry, but why use a joypad when a mouse and keyboard are so much better to use? Far Cry will be almost impossible with just a joypad...

Get used to the mouse and keyboard.Only then will you realise what a joke it is to use a gamepad with farcry.

'joytokey' is a small freeware utility that lets you configure any gamepad to any game. Easy to use once you get the hang of it. Google it and download.
Why use a gamepad? Some people have handicaps that make it necessary, but there is a small minority like myself, who learned Gamepad=left hand and Mouse=right hand play. I program the hat switch to the 4 most useful keys and use the stick for movement, plus the mouse for turning and shooting. Been doing it for many years now with great success.
No need to get cranky because someone does something a different way from you.

I have a bigger problem, I cant use my mouse. All the looking controls are binded to my steering wheel and there is no option to change it , unplugging the wheel does nothing, wtf is wrong with this game. Why the hell would anyone ever want to play an fps with a fricken steering wheel!!! Why do they set the default to this and then not have any option to change back to mouse!

Bug from patch 1.4 Select reset to defaults in options/controls menu, you should get mouse control back.
