I have a small problem whereby sometimes one of my fatboys (it could be any one of them), will walk through the terrain, and even under it. They'll still fire their rockets at mercs, and mercs fire back at them. It doesn't happen often and I've done a search for it here, but couldn't find a solution. Is there a simple fix for this? Something I've missed when setting up the terrain?
You may find that you "cut holes" in the terrain with your "Make Holes" button. If so, use the Remove holes and remoive any holes around that area. If you have done that, you MUST Generate the Terrain Surface again.

Hey, thanks for replying Clivey, but no, it's not holes that's causing the problem, I only have one hole at the moment, and that's way up high in the mountains. No, the fatboy will take a walk backwards towards a mountain, go up it a little, and then start to sink through the terrain when walking forwards and downhill. BTW, I should have mentioned that this is in the editor game mode. I haven't noticed it in the proper game itself, but then there's so much going on, I don't think I'll ever see if it happens or not.
As for the fatboys (and morphers, monkeys, mercs, etc.) walking where they shouldn't, if I lay down a forbidden area, they still walk through it, even in the proper game. Any idea's on this? I've tried picking <pick> the forbidden area to all the dudes that usually do this, and I've tried it without picking them, but it still happens both ways whether inside or outside the forbidden area.
OK, pop over to http://www.crymod.com (Cryteks Official forums) and ask the question there. I dont understand why it would do it if it wasnt holes. The only other thing could be is to check the layers ans textures you have assigned to the ground.
I dont have FC installed as I am modding for Crysis, so menus/options are slightly different, but any of the guys there will be able to help.
Ok, thank you, I'll do that. It is strange, and again, it doesn't happen all the time.
Btw, while I'm here, I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the mappers and modders for the time and effort that they've put into their games for people like me to play. VERY inspiring! All I'm trying to do is give them something back.
