Just had a look at your screenshots and i got a few questions and some constructive criticism
Is there to be a storyline behind the map?
To me it looks like your experimenting with ideas, i'm no expert at mapping but there needs to be a solid base/theme to every map, your texturing needs to be worked on, especially on POTM2 with the distant sand, try adding a soft yellow coloured .bmp layer over the detail layer and you'll find the texture will look alot better. Good to see you've learnt how to use chains But overall any map is a good idea if it's designed well, and as for this game designed realistically to as what a tropical island would actually look like in the players situation.
Sorry if i see all over the place i'm very hungover, hehe, keep working on the map mate, never stop!

Actually, the map doesn't have a storyline, and the enemies are dumb. But if you say the story is important, I'll make one.

AHH im impressed with it so far.. I am working on a map/mod 2 with friends. E8CRD(AKA JCD) and Led_zep know nothing of AI and u seem to be very good at it. We are making a mod/map series called SWARM We have amazing building and city modles, some possible theme music, and we just need someone who knows their AI like you! if you can help even a little bit it would be extremely appreciated. We also have the best cut scene creaters helping also and we were wondering if you would join our team? and help out thanxx

Far Cry is a first person shooter. Most of the single player maps are just about killing everybody with weapons. But things are going to change...

Two days ago I started working on Paradise of Tricky Murders. It's a whole new map (the old was the victim of formatting), and it will have decent AI and script. It's not about shooting every single enemy to death. It's about thinking and creativity. So far I have a basic mission script, a loadscreen, a part of an island, some vegetation, a helpful cut scene, beautiful dusk time sky and sun, green sea, and one enemy, whom you can kill by a tricky way. I resume working on it, and soon I'll post screenshots or videos. I hope you'll like it.
