When my game was 1st installed it worked great, but I'm not computer smart & have done something to where I have lost the external view of the planes. How can I fix this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The first course of action is to view your Controls to see what, if any, keys are bound to the external views. If a particular view has no bound key, highlight it and then hit the key (or key combo) you'd like to assign. If that key has been already assigned for another control and you'd still like to keep it for the new one, you'll have to (or at least should) modify the original binding.

Bear in mind that you can assign *two* bindings per control. If you want only one, simply hit the the desired key twice to erase the undesired one.

External views in the difficulty panel have been turned off.

The game remembers your last difficulty setting so if you flew on a server with no external views than the next time you play the game will keep external views off.

Just go into the difficulty settings and turn external views back on. If you've started a campaign with externals off then you'll have to restart the campaign as the difficulty can't be changed once you've started.
