I try to edit the config.ini file of il-2 Sturmovik : 1946 which is installed on a Windows vista operating system. But vista does not give me permission to change any parameters on config.ini file. What must I do to edit it?

If you install IL-2 to a folder outside C:/program files/ you will be able to write to config.ini
