Hello everyone, I am pleased to let you all know that Mission Mate version 3.0 is now available for download at mission4today.com . This release features the work of my French co-producer who has provided all the new airbase object design and also the new "Aircraft selector" tool available with this release. Very nice work as I'm sure you will all agree!

New In This Version (3.0):

This version introduces 8 new maps for Mission Mate and also a new feature "Aircraft Selector" that allows the user to select aircraft in a number of different ways by user preference of aircraft parameters with a series of defined filters.

New Maps:

Burma
Desert Online
Italy (Fiction)
Kiev
Manchuria
Murmansk (Winter & Summer)
Norway
Singapore

New Feature: "Aircraft Selector Tool"

This new window introduces an interface where the user can filter aircraft lists for selection by a number of different options. You may wish for example to select aircraft that were in service between certain years, or perhaps you are after aircraft produced by a certain nation. Filtering options allow selection by the following choices:

Before Year
After Year
Nation
Flyable
Fighter
Jet
Bomber
Reconnaissance
Seaplane
Naval
Transport

Any combination of these filters may be used at one time. This new interface also interacts with "Hardball's Aircraft Viewer" to further inform the user about the selected aircrafts capabilities.

Also a variety of bug fixes.

As always, I hope you enjoy this latest release.

Cheers and best regards,
CrazySchmidt. Smile

Excellent. Thanks.

This programme has route plotting, for example, which UQMG doesn't have. What UQMG does have is variable numbers of a/c [more than sixteen each side] and random pilot skills (and which mission mate doesn't have). The two programmes should be combined methinks.

I would love to see a colaboration between Uber D & CS.... and Flying Nutcase. I bet between the of them they could come up with something that could simulate triggers in this sim. I'd be surprised if they couldnt. Sort of an If then... for example if mission objectives are met within a certain time then XXX will spawn.... if not then YYY will spawn... The mission builder would just have to load the variables in. I think FoW is something like this... but I dont think it is out yet. Come to think of it... the best scenario would be for Uber D, CS, Flying Nutcase & Lowenren who makes the DCG to put thier heads together.... and make one mission generator. I bet they could bounce all kinds of ideas off each others heads and comeup with something totally amazing.
