Post or communicate "Hate speech." Organize or form or attempt to organize or form any groups online and/or among other Members or Guests based on slanderous or hate philosophies. Modify any part of the Sites and/or Software without the prior written consent of Ubi. Disrupt the flow of chat in chat rooms or within Software that include chat functionality with vulgar language, abusiveness, hitting the return key repeatedly or inputting large images so the screen goes by too fast to read, use of excessive shouting [all caps] in an attempt to disturb other users, or flooding [posting repetitive text]. Impersonate another person (including celebrities), impersonate a Ubi employee or a representative of Ubi, attempt to mislead users by indicating that you represent Ubi or any of Ubi's partners or affiliates. Attempt to interfere with, hack into or decipher any transmissions to or from Ubi servers or otherwise acquire a password, street address, credit card numbers, account information, or any other private information from a Member or any other user on the Sites. Give false information or intentionally hide any information that is required by the Sites or the Software. Share your account password with anyone and/or sell or otherwise transfer your account to anyone. Do not follow the instructions of authorized personnel on the Sites. Post Communications for any purpose other than personal communication, or transmit advertising, promotional materials, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or make any commercial use of our Sites. Improperly use the in game support or complaint buttons or make false reports to Ubi staff members. Violate the terms of use of third party tools, interactive service providers, state, local, federal laws, or foreign or international law where appropriate. Falsify or delete any author attributions, legal or other proper notices or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded. Restrict or inhibit any other Member or user from using and enjoying the communication features on the Sites. Sell or distribute, outside of the game, any element of the games including without limitation game's characters, names, weapons, objects, skills, virtual currency and other features. Character names you may create in the Software and on the Sites are subject to the same rules and guidelines as other forms of in-game or Sites Communication in addition to any specific character naming policies specifically applicable to the games. In the event a character name does not conform to these guidelines, Ubi shall have the right to suspend and/or terminate your account, or at Ubi's sole discretion change the character names that do not conform to the guidelines. Full version here These rules will be applied at Ubi's sole discretion. You are required to follow instructions of authorised personel (moderators and admins) even if the instruction is not covered in the posted rules. If a reasonable person objects to something, you may asked to remove it or it may be removed. Again this at Ubi's sole discretion. Hate speech and derogatory comments are not permitted (this means flames too). I suggest some of you re-evaluate your choice of avatar. Pleasant as they are, there are an awful lot of reasonable people in the world that object to "booby shots". I also remind you that the size limit for signature file size also applies to avatars. Should anyone feel that the moderators may have missed a post, we can be contacted by Private Topic or you can use the little "Report this post" button (the little yellow triangle in the bottom right corner of each post). I also remind you that you ALL agreed to these terms when you registered on the forum (even if you didn't bother to read them). Signature size limits in the PF/IL2 forums Unfortunately signature sizes have got out of hand for some users. Therefore the following rules will apply for signatures. Could everyone please check their signatures and ensure they meet these new guidelines. - Limited to one image per signature or a short text. - 500 wide x 150 high maximum dimensions - 40KB file size maximum - If you choose to use an image, please use NO MORE than 3 additional lines of text. If you're not using an image, please contain your signature to no more than 8 lines of text. The new Test postings forum is for people to test their sigs, bbcode, etc. These forums are visited by users with all types of connections and the current situation means that users on dial-up are waiting too long for signatures to download. In addition to size limits, no Swastikas in sig images please. The moderators will ensure that these new guidelines are enforced. NOTE: The file size limit applies to avatars too. Be wary of using animated .gif's in particular. Good animations are very big, even with quite small image dimensions This message has been edited. Last edited by: steve_v, |
