I'm a loner, I have plenty of mates but after a while of say hitting the pub with them I'm longing for peace an quiet.

Question:
Which one are you

Choices:
Loner
Socialite

I'm a loner. I choose my company carefully and have never found hanging out in loud crowded pubs/bars/clubs to be fun. I find it to be quite the opposite.

Given the choice between that and playing with my daughter, or having a quiet evening with my wife.. I'll take the play and quiet time.

I could be isolated from other people for weeks at a time and not care one bit.

A loner.

Airspeed, altitude, or brains; you always need at least two.

So far it looks like I'm the only weirdo here who likes a pint or five.

I guess Id' have to say 'loner',since I grew up basically an only child(I've got a 1/2 brother, that was gone by the time I came along).

If I walk into a place where I don't know folks,I'll stay and spend my time, but,I won't be trying to be everybody's 'new' buddy.

If someone else starts a convo.,I'll talk to them as long as they're not complete idiots,as are so often encountered in random 'bar' situations.

I keep money on one of the foosball tables, and there are alot of 'speed-freak' idiots in that environment,I'll take them on(foosball),but for the most part, ignore their senseless babbling!!!

"What we need to take control,we could use the Rat Patrol. What's that coming over the dune?...
Chasing the halftracks across the sandflats, got a nice pine box,for that desert fox, machine guns blaring, and Arabs staring wondering why,the Westerners are there. It's the same old story, and it'll happen again."

Loner. In my case the old saying "My Home is my Castle" is really true. Mean Happy

I enjoy to have a pint (or five), but loud music and all this 'dance like an idiot' ******** annoys me. Much prefer a few quiet drinks (or five) with the mates.

I suppose I'm a bit of both.

A bit fragile this morning. Out socialising last night. Wink2

Sometimes I feel like an archeologist when I think I've found the perfectly preserved Great British pub and its' inhabitants. Rare finds indeed nowadays. Future generations will only find them in history books and documentaries. Yet I contribute to the downfall of this noble institution by lusting after the manageress of a chain pub and spending my time sampling cheap beer and pain in the @rse teenagers who think that this is living.

Depends on the company of course, but sometimes I prefer a good book to a night out.

I guess I've got a foot in either camp here.

A loner in general, but never had a problem having a good eve with friends and coworkers. Depends on my mood. I am not a party person by a long shot, though.

I suppose I am in a boat with Low Flyer here.

I guess it is a matter of definition. I do enjoy being alone at time, however I also enjoy socialising with my friends. I do not really enjoy the club experience with loud bad music and overly drunk students. Me and my friends usually go down to a pub or bar and have a quiet drink and sit and talk. I'm in general not a party person, but I do enjoy civilised parties (people not being too loud, drunk and annoying)

Not really surprised by the results so far...

Why would a party animail spend any time on a forum dedicated to a niche game?
