I've just received an urgent pigeon from Moscow.

The ladies at the Novyskaya Tractor Factory report that Leitmotiv is alive and well, and is currently recuperating at Oleg's house. Mrs. Maddox is plying Leit with steaming mugs of Horlicks and plates of jam-fancies to build his strength back up.

So far Leitmotiv has declined to speak of his ordeal and strangely, has refused all clothing. Clad only in an old green blanket dating back to the Great Patriotic War, he crouches over Oleg's home computer, muttering and logging in to these forums under a strange name.... We really should be on the lookout for him.

In other recent developments, PC Pilot magazine has reportedly offered a six-figure sum for the exclusive rights to Leitmotiv's story....

"Nineteen years of age, eight years public education, three years military service. Intelligent, normally observant and answered all questions freely. He was arrogant and proud to be a pilot. Fellow prisoners in hospital consider him mentally unstable."

BBC, London, August 2 2008

The debate surrounding the disappearance of Leitmotiv took a new twist today, as a leaked memo, from the desk of Minister of Information, Commissar Pirschjaeger, suggested that Leit may in fact be some type of hitherto unknown supernatural phenomenon. The memo, secretly obtained by the BBC, states...

Truth be known, Leit has never existed......atleast in the common concept of 'existence'. Leit is a product of the Ubi community. He is the quintessential embodiment of the community collective.

Admin first realised this months ago when she logged out of the site and noticed Leit had somehow vanished. Admin was able to repeat this experiment many times and got the same results. She asked us to keep it quiet so as to not upset the community.

Researchers at Edinburgh University were quick to give support to this theory. Professor Bill McGhoul, Dept. of Ghosts, Gobblins and Things That Go Bump In The Night, said "It is possible, in theory, that the entity formerly known as Leitmotiv, having been unleashed from the confines of the Ubi Mainframe, has somehow managed to leap the divide between the digital and the physical."

"However, if this is indeed the case, I would expect to see some trace of a new identity, an alter ego if you will. Has any such evidence been found?"

The BBC was unable to answer his question.

Air Ministry officials have suggested to this reporter that at sometime this year a Main Force raid on the foe's capital, Laputa, included a Pilot Officer leitmotiv in a PFF Mosquito.

The Ministry for Intelligence has released what is believed to be a sighting of Leitmotiv, probably taken during his time at the Novyskaya Tractor Factory, he can be seen clearly in the background of the picture. The mud on his face is thought to be due to his recent time as a Judge in the USSR Women's mud wrestling Championship.

The official Ministry of Intelligence spokesman has also voiced worries that there is evidence to suggest that Leitmotiv may have other identities he can swap too at will, one of these being the infamous "Keyser Söze".

Leit watch ended when he left after a smack on the wrist ban, up to him if he posts on these boards again and not on a second alter ego account, locking.
