LEITMOTIV MADE SAINT BY POPE

The international mystery man known only by his CIA alias "leitmotiv" (reputedly because he was fond of humming "The Ride of the Valkyries" by Wagner before dispatching Russian agents posing as game designers with his custom-made sawed-off MG42 machine gun kept in his impeccable Bond Street suit pocket) has been declared a saint by an unprecedented act by the Pope who went over all the Cardinals to elevate him to sainthood by Papal fiat. "Despite a life of complete abandonment to vice, crime, mayhem, debauchery, corruption of women, men, dogs, cats, parakeets, and llamas, and despite taking great pleasure in executing his country's enemies, I have made him a saint," stated the Pontiff.

BREAKING NEWS!

The official Ubistan press agency, BaИda, has issued this statement on behalf of Generalisimo BearCat...

In other news...

Trouble flared at Portland Royal Navy Docks in Dorset, when Squadron Leader Low Flyer's Polish Vixen Unit claimed that Colonel Uther's Yeomanry outfits clashed with their own.

Colonel Uther refused to budge on the issue, stating "My men have worn bright red tunics since Oliver Cromwell personally gave me command of the regiment over 300 years ago."

Bloodshed was only avoided when Rear Admiral Avro selflessly volunteered to billet "...a dozen or so of the fiercest Polish ladies..." in his own cabin on board the task force flagship.

The German Military Attache, Baron von Bewolf, has ordered three Panzer Battalions to proceed towards the French channel ports, for immediate embarkation with the task force. A spokesman for the French government said "I am not currently, nor have I ever been, a spokesman for the French government. In fact, Ich bin ein Berliner...honest."

I have it on excellent authority that Avro and Low_Flyer have been engaged in a running competition to see who could acquire the largest collection of Polish Vixens in the UK. Presently Avro is leasing Albert Hall for his, and Low_Flyer is leasing the Alexandra Palace for his. Unfortunately for both, foxyboy came in under the radar with his huge collection kept in Wembley Stadium and the R-101 airship hangar.

Hi all,

As can be seen here, myself and fellow Officers from today's meeting of the Royal Navy's 'Rescue Command' have been somewhat busy with preparations.

I can't discuss matters further as security is tight. If you need to ask, you don't need to know. (Quote from Admiral Nelson, Battle of Trafalgar, 1805).

Best Regards,

Truth be known, Leit has never existed......atleast in the common concept of 'existence'. Leit is a product of the Ubi community. He is the quintessential embodiment of the community collective.

Admin first realised this months ago when she logged out of the site and noticed Leit had somehow vanished. Admin was able to repeat this experiment many times and got the same results. She asked us to keep it quiet so as to not upset the community.

Well, the cat is out of the bag now.
