I'd really like a Walrus, but my imaginary billionaire distant cousin says I can only have a civvy plane, and it has to be a modern one - he says if I get a warbird, I'll only break it.

What would you like him to get you for Christmas? Same restrictions - modern civvy, and no 'civilianised' warbirds, even if you could bribe the manufacturer to sell you one. Wink2

Or one of these:

Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way home, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV.

A fairly modern turbo prop whilst keeping a conection to the past (bit like the Dornier)
I like the one without the floats too
