Soupy Sales passed on today at Calvary hospice in the Bronx. He was 83. Doctors repeatedly attempted to revive him by hitting him in the face with pies, unfortunately that just doesn't work in this day and age.

I know I'm dating myself with this one but this guy was like Groucho Marx on Crack for kids. Pies, pies and more pies, Fang, The Count. It didn't get any more manic than this cat. Part of my misspent youth.

I'm too young to have seen his kids shows, but I remember Soupy from his many many game show and variety show appearances.

RIP Soupy Sales.

I remember seeing him on the game shows too. He was pretty funny.

Diver Dan.. boy.. you are really dating yourself... Remember how in about 90% of the episodes he would be running out of air in the end.. and you got that music.. denh denh dennhhhhhhhhhhh as he leaned over to the side.. LOL..
