Looks like being alone made you paranoid. And, when it comes to ghosts; tell them to get the heck out. We live in a very old but maintained brick house that we moved into about 6 months ago and my wife said that as she was coming out of the bathroom she briefly saw a gray-haired woman standing in the bedroom. And the other day she was in the bathroom and the towel-closet door slammed by itself. So, later on, I went into that bathroom and took a big nasty stinky cr@pp and as I did that I talked to that ghost. I said: "Why don't you go down to the movie theater and watch movies all day for free? I mean go someplace else for Chrissakes. Go somewhere. You would rather watch me sit here and polute the bathroom? You got nothing better to do? Good gaaawd, you have issues." And it also helps to tell them to do the dishes or get the heck out of the house. If you are going to hang around here than make yourself useful.

Don't go into the sea! The fishies are coming to get you Raaaid!
Just a thought but why don't you take a long walk on the beach. You're right there... head on down and take it easy. I find walking along a beach to be a very calming experience...
Raaaid, draw us a picture of what you are scared of.
Know that it is in your imagination.
I'l explain, first draw me the picture.
Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way home, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV.
I have been in places where I felt alone where there was nobody around, but even though you may be in your home by yourself, you are still surrounded by many people who are only a few feet away, even if not in the same room.

1) Ghosts don't exist. If you see one, you are having either an hallucination or mistaking something. Try not to get obsessed with that, since people are more likely to "see" or "hear" things they will interpret as paranormal if they're scared and heavily influenced.
2) Even if they existed, there is no real proof of a ghost directly harming anyone. It's fear, not ghosts, that can hurt you.
