He he... I will unlike some of my enthusiastic friends (can't blame them tho), be satisfied with a friendly draw. England has a strong team, they may be a little off form in this moment, but surely are not to be underestimated and any gung-ho approach (which also can easily be provoked/triggered by some 30,000 frenzied fans at Maksimir stadium) may prove to be a sword with two blades, may return in worst possible shape.
And ultimately in the end, would be nice that both Croatia and England qualify for South Africa.
However football is a game where you can't really tell, and our group smells that it could have thrilling (more like nerve breaking) end, where every point maybe even every goal will count. Who knows.
I see some of your guys already arrived in Zagreb, ehehe they certainly don't waste time (beer wise )... media estimates some 2,500 England supporters which will be located on South stands.

In some 11 hours I'm going to Zagreb to see the game, hopefully I'll be able to post a few pics from the stadium .

And one interesting fact; if you guys manage to beat our team you will break a strong tradition... Croatia have never lost an official game on Maksimir stadium in its history. On the other hand, no one has ever beat England team 3 times in row...

Very tough game for England Gerrard is out Hargreaves also,although Ferdinand has been passed fit apparently,Heskey and Rooney up front does not inspire me at all though.

Anyways, we are playing with Slovakia today. Remembering our recent friendly match with Croatia, where we lost "only" 3:2 (after two leads, 1:0 and 2:1, although, to be frank, it was on our stadium and Croats looked like they play for training), there still is a spark of hope for our football I guess!

Being very interested in both matches looks like I'll be swapping the two channels like mad.

I suppose Cappelo teh tyrant kicked in... then there was, after our relatively good start, absolutely furious team England reply and after all I must say deserved win.
I'm just sorry for the Kovac's red card, after that it was just one sided game.

To feel what was going on there, you had to be there... man after that sent off, it looked like a stronger exercise for Englishmen.

I admit, after the shock we suffered (0:3) it really tuned us down, and we weren't so loud in cheering...
After some time, we resumed our cheering, heck if we go down we go down in style.
And yes, I must also praise England supporters, they really pushed their team all the time, very nice cheering, drums, trumpets 'n stuff .

Well, we're a long way from the finish, but our Italian friend hasn't done himself any harm at all with that performance. Rest assured, if anyone can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, it's the England football team.
