Sounds just about plausible to me.

Could have gone badly though - imagine the headline - 'Hoodie girls beat Boris to death with iron bar'.

If that happened, we'd have to erect a memorial to him.

I rather like Boris, despite him being a bit of an idiot on occasion.

Maybe it's a good thing that he didn't catch up to the girls.

Imagine the sculptor's dithering about whether it would be appropriate to include the shoe that was crammed in the backside of his bike shorts, in addition to the iron bar that is stuck in the pleat between his ears.

At any rate, it'd be a cool tourist attraction to have a picture taken next to the bronze, just so they can show their folks back in the States what they did on their European vacation:

"Who's the statue of that you're standing next to grandpa, and what's that thing sticking out of its head?"

"Oh, I think it was some admiral guy that sank a bunch of French ships back in the 1800's, or something like that, and I think that's the spear they killed him with that's sticking in his head. Or, at least that's what I think the tour guide said."
