I thought they had a fubar when the rocket folded in two, started tumbling and then the feed was lost. All part of the show apparently.

Wow I missed it. I was watching live, before, as it was delayed because of a ship in the area, they also got a pitot tube cover stuck on top of it but that was'nt a delay. But then it was scrubbed due to triboelectrification possibilites from clouds that would have caused interference in transmissions.
That was a good launch. It looked like it broke in half, but in future flights the second stage will fire up a single-liquid rocket motor and it will continue into orbit. This message has been edited. Last edited by: RPMcMurphy, |

Yeah, even though I knew it was a dummy upper stage and dummy crew capsule, it was a bit sick looking to see the separation and slow spin like that.
