More than likely should LF ever win the big one at the track, you would see him swimming in a Spitfire shaped Olympic sized swimming pool out back of the mansion.

Right now, he has to make do with his impressive model Spitfire collection, ( Thumbs Up) and probably will nod off to sleep on his Spitfire shaped bed and pillows after a hard day of 'Spitfire Maintenance'. Winky

Most of them live in this mirror-backed, illuminated cabinet Mr Shinjiro - a delicate process getting them in and out. The rest - exept one - live behind glass on a bookcase I butchered.

The rest - exept one really big 'un - live behind glass on a bookcase I butchered.

Another big 'un...

One of the favourites in the collection. A heavy piece of kit. Too heavy for the stand that comes with it, in fact. Would do some damage if it fell onto some smaller pieces - hence undercart down and displayed on the deck. Comes with an optional open bomb bay.

The really big one coming tomorrow...

Relax Uther - it's just a 1/32nd photo-recce Mossie. Veryhappy

Too big even for those breeches. Weighs a ton. Her American little sister keeps her company now and again, but she's mostly left to fend for herself - exposed and at the mercy of curious visitors to Lowflyer Hall...who all just have to touch her comely lines - "Ooooh! It's cold!" they'll say, "Hmmmmm...whorl type fingerprints!" I'll retort.

Ironic really - a heavy metal 'wooden wonder'. Lots of parts come off- you can get to the Merlins and the cameras, the undercart works although the seperate 'open' doors are attatched by an odd 'hook & eye' arrangement. The 'closed' ones utilise pain in the butt spring clips...best left alone once happy with chosen mode.

Just to cheer Stalkervision up, this one crept in somehow - was very lonely until the 190 turned up as a gift. Note cramped cockpit, and all round general ugliness compared to my lovely Spitfires. Obviously a poor performer. Tongue

It's quite a nice piece, really. whisper

Mega Mossie FTW. I see a Lysander in the background of the 109 shot. I've always liked those.
