Time to dust off my Spit collection, amazing how the stuff gets in the display cabinet. Corgi, Dragon & Witty 1/72nd for the other collectors out there.

Not the best way to test a steady hand. Slowly getting there...

If you're all good boys, I'll post pics of me washing my Jugs with warm, soapy water tomorrow. Wink2

You should put a FW190 in the middle of that lot, then watch them all fly off in different directions!
The jug washing should be interesting, but I thought you had a crotch rocket?

Very nice collection there, are they kits you've made or collectors items you've bought?

My nephew is very much into kits and has quite a few already.

They're metal 'collectables' Ma'am - some of the Corgi ones can be had quite cheaply (around £10) when you compare to the plastic kits and the time, glue and paint required on them. Some are quite expensive limited editions. Apparently, the black Spitfire is highly sought after, as are the larger scale ones - I've got three, always on the lookout for more. They go for silly prices on E-bay.

I think in his case the plastic kits are a better option, they help to keep him out of trouble Wink2 lol

I have a few static display planes, but nothing like what you've got.
I no longer have any on display, but rather packed away.

Got any moar Jugs? Winky

I've got a couple models packed away, mostly smaller of various a/c, but I do have a Jug about a foot long, never taken it out of the box. I found it at a tourist shop where it looks like it spent many years collecting dust and the occasional clumsy foot. Half price though, can't complain too much. Happy

More Jugs you say?

And some USN/MC in case R Target's watching.

The last one was particularly hard hit by the builder's dust - didn't realise at the time, even made the bounders regular mugs of tea...

Well - it kind of snuck up on me - woke up one day and there they all were, or so it seemed.

Big 'uns...1/32nd scale.

KL-B 'Kiwi' (Al Deere) was the one that started the madness with me. Saw it going for a song in a local shop and there I was - hooked.

What I thought was going to be a quick tickle with a feather duster job is turning into a major cleaning project. A lot more visible via flash photography than with the naked eye. Not looking forward to the Swordfish.

Ah! The Danjama seal of approval - suddenly it all seems worthwhile. Smile Thumbs Up
