"BYPASS IN A PILL"
Wins Nobel Prize, Then Gets Buried!
 Cuts artery plaque by an incredible 50%...
 Drops high blood pressure as much as 60 points...
Nobel Prize winner Dr. Louis Ignarro made a special appearance on the Hugh Downs broadcast to reveal the covered-up truth about this astonishing breakthrough. He's discovered a "miracle molecule" that could make bypass surgery, angioplasty and blood pressure drugs obsolete.
Already, doctors are saying this natural discovery can expand narrow blood vessels, eliminate dangerous clots, lower high blood pressure as much as 60 points, reduce artery-clogging plaque by an amazing 50%...
And this is not unproven hokum. It won Dr. Ignarro the Nobel Prize!
No doubt you're wondering, "I don't get it. He won the Nobel Prize. Why haven't I heard about it?" I'm afraid the reason is that this amazing discovery has been...
Killed by big-money medicine, because it's too cheap!
As you'll see on page 485 of your FREE-Preview volume, all you need to unleash Dr. Ignarro's molecule are a couple of safe, natural supplements. Isn't that outrageous? This secret won the NOBEL PRIZE, for heaven's sake! It could be saving millions of lives every year—at absurdly low cost—and nobody even knows it exists!

We meet new instances of the greed of men each day, and they never cease to amaze me...just like all the obstacles the free-energy movement is getting.

No wonder that Christ said "..it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man getting to heaven.." and the Buddha said the same but referred to an elephant..

These guys are creating so much bad karma for themselves Roll Eyes Nuh uh Demonic

Sounds like what we should be doing except taking the nitric oxide. I am trying to do that too. Common sense therefore not BS.

I did a brief search and read but couldn't find anything stating that the discovery has been, "killed by big money medicine".

In fact, Viagra is a direct result of his research. Below is a brief description of the work that actually won him (and colleagues) the Nobel Prize...

quote:

American pharmacologist Louis J. Ignarro solved the riddle of "EDRF" (endothelium derived relaxing factor), discovered several years earlier by Robert F. Furchgott. He showed that nitric oxide -- the infamous tailpipe pollutant that provides smog and easy suicide -- is also the gas that acts as a signaling molecule, relaxing blood vessels. His conclusion helped explain why nitroglycerin eases chest pains, and has led to other life-saving heart medicines, as well as the erection-building drug Viagra. Furchgott, Ignarro, and Ferid Murad shared the 1998 Nobel Prize in Medicine.

Note that it does not mention any research at all leading to the reduction of plaque.

Also...

quote:

Ignarro has endorsed HeartBar, a chewy candy-bar-like product containing the amino acid L-Arginine. Its manufacturer, Unither Pharma, settled claims of deceptive practices with the Federal Trade Commission in 2003. Ignarro also co-authored an article in the scientific journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that supported the use of the dietary supplement Niteworks, without disclosing his own connection to Herbalife, the multilevel marketing company that manufactures it. Herbalife promotes Niteworks as preventing cardiovascular disease, though its efficacy in humans has not yet been tested.

Furchgott, one of Ignarro's co-Nobel-recipients, said of Niteworks, "I think with the sort of money they're raking in, they could have done some human studies". Murad, who also shared the Prize, described the $90/month retail price of Ignarro's concoction as obscene. "You can probably get [vitamin] C and E for pennies a day. You can probably get arginine for about a dollar a day."

LOL, I love it: Big Medicine, Big Oil, the Guv'ment, anybody need some more boogymen under their beds? Why do I need to learn (physics/chemistry/algebra) the student asks. So you don't get taken or herded I say.
I just love it when some schmuck tries to sell their 100mpg carb or miracle pill and to explain why no one has heard of it invokes the boogyman "Big-something" who's keeping the good people of the world down.
Just like Big Steam, Big Sail, and Big Horse did in their day.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.
A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight; Nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety; is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, Unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

We seem to be returning to the times of Galen!

I see people complain about funding for local government posts to promote healthy eating. I think that overall promotion of healthy eating is probably a net saving in terms of health care costs. It's just that if you are giving a large system a slight nudge a long time ahead noone notices/thanks you. If someone had suggested turning the Titanic 0.001 degrees south 5 hours earlier it would have missed the iceberg, but noone would remember that person's name even though they would have saved hundreds of lives.

Right, time to eat some salad.

Hum, that's no miracle for me. What I really need is something that allows me to drink and eat really tasty things and rest on a sofa, and still be healthy, thin and handsome. Roll Eyes
