While I would be very upset if McCain won the election I hope he doesn't get dragged down by this Palin in a scandal.

So just because you belong to a party means you automatically support their entire platform? Interesting, that tells me ALOT about you then.

i dont think you understood my post. even though im a obama supporter, i think the accusations leveled at palin are a bunch of tripe, especially the stuff about her daughter.

Actually, in my opinion, some of the accusations aren't all tripe.

The Republicans are again running on the "issues" of family values, homeland security and morality. Palins past and present is a direct contradiction to those things. She's under investigation for ethics violations, she has a pregnant teen (who I suspect they forced to marry the father to save face for the election), she has no foriegn policy experience at all, she was a memeber of a sepratist party, etc.

Those are all things that are not condusive to gaining public trust, and remember, this is just the start of the presidential race. Imagine what is going to come out later...

I'd rather have Palin as vice president than Obama as a president any day!! Obama's socialist and super-liberal stances scare me to death. Plus he's been highly involved in the corrupt Chicago mobster machine politics of Mayor Daley. He believes in wealth redistribution rather than wealth creation and is generally anti-capitalist. His wish to raise capitol gains taxes would have a horrifying effect on the economy from the top all the way down to the bottom. He's backed a brutal socialist dictator wannabe in Kenya. And I'm only scratching the surface here. NObama '08!!!

Being part of a separatist group is not illegal. But someone who is part of corrupt Chicago machine politics like Obama has been should be far more of a concern to any sane person. I don't want him to lead our country even for one day.

i from chicago orginally, i wouldnt say its anymore corrupt these days than any other big city. the old days ended while obama was still in school.

though obama is supporting the current mayor daleys bid for another term, in the past relations beteewn them haven't been so good. i would hardly call him part of the machine. in all honesty there really isnt a machine anymore.
