Would have to be the screw driver. I must have 50 of them. A man can never have enough screw drivers.

I agree. Plus a hammer that doesn't conspire to kill you when you swing it.

It would have to be my old brick-laying trowel that I kept a hold of after I quit the trade. Forged in one piece with a beechwood handle, and with one side of the blade heat-treated so that you could chop a brick into two clean halves with one stroke, they were stamped with the name WHS.
Tradition had it that the initials stood for Work Hard or Starve, which nobody could deny if they had laid bricks 'paid by the measure'. Smile

Well, my favorite tool is a magnificent set of knives I have in my kitchen.

I really like my Swisstool Spirit Really handy for loads of jobs, mines done everything from gutting fish, sawing branches, trimming and stripping wires, stringing guitars, fixing my car when a fuel pipe split, changing plugs, fixing my glasses, assembling flat pack furniture, and fixing computers. I'm sure it'll come in handy plenty more times before it wears out. Happy

Head Space and Timing Gauge for the Browning M2 .50 cal.

It's to set the proper distance between the barrel and the bolt face, and to make sure the timing (when the firing pin strikes the primer on a round- also dictates the ROF) is correct.

Either things being wrong can lead to the gun not performing properly. In some cases, particularly in regards to head space- improper setting can lead to the gun exploding.
