To stop mimicking the British. I would much rather have my sausages hot Italian in my home made tomato sauce served over linguine with fresh Italian bread and a nice bottle of Valpolicella.

And no side of peas, either.

Good. Listening to Americans mimicking the British can be very embarrassing. Shady

Big Grin There's no haggis on that plate. I take it you're referring to the black pudding, yes? Black pudding is cool, as long as you don't ask what it's made from. In fact, the same could be said for haggis Big Grin

EDIT: Just had a scan about the web and it seems that Blutwurst is almost the same as black pudding.

I think the potato thing is called bubble and squeak. Mashed totties and chopped onions fried lightly, yum yum.

Yes, skinless BP every time Thumbs Up

I'm going to have to go and make something else to eat. This thread is doing my cholesterol no good at all.

Any of you watch Pierre Marco White the renowned Michelin Starred Chef on his programme about the best of British Food, he was talking to some Cabbies and said the best way to cook Bacon was to put 4 slices on a plate in the Microwave for 2 to 2 1/2 mins... As a grill em to death man I Poo Poo'd it, but bugger me I tried it and he was right........ yummy Bacon butties in minutes and no messy grill pan..... Veryhappy
