I think the potato thing is called bubble and squeak. Mashed totties and chopped onions fried lightly, yum yum.

I'm going to have to go and make something else to eat. This thread is doing my cholesterol no good at all.

Any of you watch Pierre Marco White the renowned Michelin Starred Chef on his programme about the best of British Food, he was talking to some Cabbies and said the best way to cook Bacon was to put 4 slices on a plate in the Microwave for 2 to 2 1/2 mins... As a grill em to death man I Poo Poo'd it, but bugger me I tried it and he was right........ yummy Bacon butties in minutes and no messy grill pan.....

Looks mighty tasty.. Except I've never had Black Pudding before- maybe if I'm ever given the opportunity I'll give it a shot.

It is actually delicious. I erm and its gonna make people in here squirm..... like eating it cold and fresh out of the fridge, as it comes from the shop.... have done since I was about 5
