Interesting subject.

I'm reading the Stephen Baxter novels, where information from the future is sent back into the past through dreams.

In "Weaver" SeaLion is successful.

Made me think of Odie, and why he hasn't been around.

Maybe he's read it and is currently zonked out trying to re-create it.

I don't think so. More likely you've been possessed by John Belushi's character.....

.. than in any other time in KNOWN history!

Ordinary mortals only remember their previous existences as a human......those spent in the animal or hell realms would be too traumatic to recall....
Human life-span changes in cycles ...like everything else in nature....
At the time of the buddha the average life-span was 100 years...now decreasing by one year every hundred years....and it will reach the low ebb when the average age is 10 at which time girls will marry or have children at the age of 5...
After a brief period of mass-killing the survivors will start to live moral lives again and human life-span will then gradually increase over a long period to its high point.....where the average life-span is approx. 100,000 years and girls will remain single until the age of 5,000 years.....a time of almost no suffering and virtually a heaven on earth...
as the life-span starts to fall again ...when it reaches 40,000 years the next and last buddha of this aeon will take his final birth.

I remember my past life. I was this little tadpole-like thing swimming around with other tadpole like things. I had a really long tail that I could twirl in such away that I could really move fast. I was number one on the swim team.

Then one day the swim team had this huge meet. We decided to play "it". One of the others realized I hadn't been tagged. Suddenly everyone was after me. I was swimming as fast as I could with millions of buddies just behind me. I decided it was time to hide so I decided to dive into this huge spherical thing. It looked kinda soft and squishy but when I dived in headfirst I found out otherwise. I must have got quite a concussion as on impact I saw a bright flash and have no memories after.

There seems to be about a 4 year gap between that time and where my memory begins as a child.

I hope you closed your eyes in time! I've been told that really stings.
