Well I was at a movie called Sunshine Cleaning this morning and was stunned to see on the big screen what appeared to be a shelf stacked to the rafters with Tamiya model planes. The Mosquito was clearly visible....Lo and behold one of the main characters is running a dual purpose shop selling detergent and cleaning products and equipment in one half AND a fully kitted out model shop in the other half!!!In another scene he is making a 1/48th scale B25 Mitchell!
Now Im not saying this is the core of the movie and you should all go and see it but Im not aware of any other tv/film movie/programme with plastic scale modelling featured.
For the record it IS a highly watchable movie which Id rate on a par with Terminator, maybe not quite as good as Star Trek, in the last few months releases. Its from the producers of Little Miss Sunshine and is a american indie style movie ...
Its about two sisters who start up a murder scene cleaning business.

I've seen lots of movies where a kids room is full of models, but nothing like this. Sounds interesting.
