I get kicked, banned, deleted, yelled at, sweared to, threatened, corrected, abandoned, disrespected, misinturpeted all teh time on every other website but here and one other place. Thank you ms-kleaneasy and all the moderaters adn all the wonderfull people here for this wonderfull place. I see this place as my safe ground, and people respect me, and take me for who I am. Again, thank you all for this wonderfull forum and I wish to be with this place forever with these awesome people.

I think it's a matter of most of us here are older than the average forum and generally at least attempt to be smarter and more mature (seeing as history is our common passion and most people interested in history are more educated/intelligent, though that sounds elitist and makes me cringe but hopefully you all get what I'm driving at). We see you on here and see your passion for history and rather than let your tendencies to act your age (no offense meant, but I'm sure you know what I mean) bother us and run you off, I think most of us here would prefer to offer you advice and help you mature even further.

I'm tired so I'm not sure if any of that made sense, lol, but I hope some of you got my meaning.

This forum has many older and responsible members, creating a better place.
I have been to other forums filled with hotheaded, misguided teenagers, clueless youngsters, and some people claiming to be adults but never really grew up.
Sure, we may have some of those here, but a many of us are level headed, responsible adults.


...and I am glad that you have kept the same avatar for a few weeks now. I guess you just had to find something you liked.

Never get too reliant on how `nice` people are on a forum. it can backfire on you.
