What is with the F1 officials? Is Ferrari paying them off?

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/70401

Hamilton falls back even though he was ahead of Raikkonen in the chicane. Raikkonen then does a snake dance to stop Hamilton from passing.

Well, whatever the outcome, at least the last 2 laps of this race provided us with some real racing entertainment - a long time Ferrari supporter, I'd give Kimi the 'Dunce of the Day' award, though...

Hamilton gets the shaft

& he deserved it

desperation attack & then he refused to back off & take his place in the corner

the corner was kimis, & he was following his line in his corner

lewis didnt want to put up with being behind so cut the track

his "slow down" was a joke & he backed off just so he was ready to out-brake into the next corner

a bs racing tactic

low class

He cut the corner,so he is lucky that the time penalty still let him keep third.

he cut the corner because it was the only option kimi left him that didnt involve him taking both himself and kimi out.

I'm with nikki lauder here (3 times world champion) when he said its the worst decision he's ever seen in formula 1.

FIA.... ferrari international assistnce

rubbish

gravel used to be on that part of the corner

when it was there , NO ONE would try holding the line LH did , because you get forced otu by the lead car as it follows its line

& you slow or bog on the gravel

Lewis Hamilton was on a line that wasnt open , his only REAL option was to life & slot in behind the lead car

you are expecting the lead car to lift to allow him to barge thru

USED TO being the operative here. there used to be gravel etc... not now though.

I don't think for one minute that kimi did anything wrong, but nor did LH.

again, i'm with Mr Lauder here.

& the barrier for the new chicane used to be closer

he was trying to take a space that wasnt open & instead of backing off he cut the track & was on the car ahead at the following brake point closer than if he had stayed on the track by slotting behind the lead car

basically LH would do great racing online with bs tactics like that

It wasn't open because the Finn muscled him out.

Hamilton had a good teacher with the Schu. Smile

Becouse LH cut the corner he got closer to Kimi in to the next corners braking point. So it was unfair advantage to LH, so he got past Kimi. So the judges did the right thing.
