Soaring like an eagle, and flying circles around the turkeys, Leit was hit by an unidentified missile and went down on the other side of the lines.

He managed to hit the reply button and eject just in time, but we fear he was captured and is being held here in Vietnam, just outside Hanoi in the Ban-me hotel:




Gentlemen, this is urgent! We need our squad-mate back and need to bust him out now. Who else amomg us can assemble a 1/48 Blackburn Skua with non allergenic adhesive, referee a hommage to cheerleeders thread, and deliver a surgically precise, literary smackdown to the culturally bereft? Who else can quote Kipling by the yard? Who else can say Wagner with a V and pronounce croissant without sounding like a tosser? Who else can do all these things at the same time? Who indeed?! As oleg Maddox himself once said, "Uh-oh! Look out boys, this guy knows stuff!" And it's true! I tell you chaps, it's a duller place around here without him. We're talking about a default part of the game that no mod can replace.

So pull on your action-slacks people. It's time to stand up and say, "Oi! Where the bloody hells our leit?!"

I say let's bust him out!

We'll need an explosives man, a sniper, two guys to carry the booze, someone to distract the pole-dancers in the hotel bar - I'll volunteer for that part, and a pilot to steal a chopper and get us all out.

Our respectives governments will of course deny all knowledge of this plan and I need not remind you that this conversation never took place.

Mission Update!

I posted a thread over on the Special-Forces Recruitment forum and got some immediate replies. Our sexy sniper chick is standing by.



I found a ninja too (she was in my ceiling).



So far we've got a choice of two chopper pilots.
I'll let you guys choose which one...

Well obviously the more professional one...the one with the helmet & flying overalls.

I was going to question our firepower, but now that I've seen our team, I am starting to believe that we may possibly be able to pull it off.
