Should politics be banned? So that people don't get ****ed off with each other and leave.

For the most part we have a mature crowd here who should be able to handle such discussions without resorting to any type of unscrupulous behavior.
I have seen some discussions getting out of hand, and not just the political ones and that is really unacceptable. If someone gets out of hand, they will/should be dealt with accordingly. I'm thinking more along the lines of just the general atmosphere. For example I like characters on both political spectrum's, would be a shame if people left or fell out over minor political differences. It would be nice if the forum could be a bit more fun without people labeling each other socialists or right-wing nut jobs. Anyway, have a think about it. We should ban all planes except for the P-51. It's the only one that did anything anyway. It's not like the others will be missed.
 Airspeed, altitude, or brains; you always need at least two. |

I don't really think anything should be banned, except Odin and the P-51. But people should choose their words carefully.

I have very strong political views but have almost never flamed anyone but have been flamed quite a few times of late myself. But I've been a good sport about it most of the time. But I also refuse to go to the moderators and demand punishment for these unseemly people. That's just being childish. I wish some would do the same for me. I will not allow some who disagree with me to get to me, nor would I ever leave because of such things. And I never change my name like a coward either, like some.

All the scientific data I get says there is no global warming at this time. The places I get my data from are all legit and all the low temperature records, massive snowfall records, ice and snow coverage data, glacial advancing data and such is all verifiable. It can all be backed up because it's collected by professionals. Just that people don't want to believe it is all. |
