Me, I'm 44.

Anyway, I was just curious to learn if any of you weirdo's happen to collect and or still have around in a box somewhere any of your old Plastic 3D Army Men?

I ask this question, because out in my Storage Shed, in a Box that originally held Russian Pistols that were handed out to Officers only, I have roughly somewhere between 3,000 & 5,000 Toy Soldiers.

Soldiers, Tanks, Jeeps, Artillery Pieces, Bunkers, Etc,.....

Some of them are even detailed to look like they came from World War II.

I have a BUNCH of U.S. Solders, Some British, Some Japanese and even some Germans.

How about you guys?

Well, I'm north of forty, south of fifty, with love handles starting to go east and west. Had Plastic army men by the dozens when I was a kid, I know most of em got melted. I dont know wht happened to the rest of them. Along with the GI Joes( the bigger ones with the hinged hands and feet etc. IHad a jeep for them. Had a wire remote controlled Tiger tank handed down from my brother. I always wonder what happened to all that stuff I had as a kid except for my brother's plastic B-52 model he had hanging from the bedroom cieling, I do- know what happened to that; I shot the crap out of it with my bb-gun after he ****ed me off.
Anyway, I'm 45 and I dont have any of my old cool army toys anymore, they are all gone.

Time to make some of you guys jealous.

Over there on the other side of the room, I have a 1/6th Scale Remotely Controlled Stuart Light Tank, complete with an Engine that starts up, a Turret that traverses and shoots projectiles, and it can make Cannon and machine gun Fire sounds as well.

Never really have tested the full range of the thing, but I do know that I can go half way down the street and back without ever moving from the same position.

I bought it at Walmarts on a Whim for like $162.00 & Change.

I understand the same company makes a 1/6th Scale Tiger I as well, but I have never been able to find one, except on the net itself.

43.

I only have a pair of Revell P-47 Razorback 1:48 plastic models sitting on my desk at the office. At home I have a little diecast 1:72 P-40B/C sitting besides the desktop.

I've kind of wanted a nice version of Speed Racer's old Mach 5, but every time I see one I just can't quite do it.

I guess I'd rather buy beer or ammo. Veryhappy

Sometimes.

A few co-workers and myself go together to a pistol range once in a while and afterwards go throw down some beers after the pistols are put away.

When that happens, I don't get around to cleanin' a pistol for a few days.

Good way to spend an afternoon. Winky

The only thing I have left from my childhood are scars & memories.. and the former are beginning to stretch and the latter are fading fast.

I am, to use Morris' term.. north of 50.. south of 60. Chronologically anyway... I am told I look in my 40s... and in my heart I often feel like I'm 12.
