This is a thread that is for the express purpose of allowing people who have things they may want to part with... for free (excluding shipping.. that's negotiable between the parties involved) to let others know about them. No discussion of prices are allowed in this thread. Here is an example... say you have a book, or an old video card.. that works.. but you don't need it, and you wouldn't mind donating it to someone in need... This is the thread where you would let the community know. Say you have a need... and cash is tight... and you want to appeal top the community.. this is the thread that you would let the community know.

Here are the rules of this thread.

1-ALTHOUGH THIS THREAD HAS BEEN ALLOWED BY THE FORUM ADMINS, IT IS UNOFFICIAL AND NOT SPONSORED BY UBISOFT. ALL COSTS, LIABILITIES, FEES ETC INCURRED AS A RESULT OF ANYTHING FROM THIS THREAD ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PARTIES INVOLVED.

2-There will be no discussion of price. EVER . This is NOT a buy, sell trade thread. What people do in private PMs is their business of course... but in this thread... only needs or things to share are to be expressed.

3-Keep your posts brief.
I have XYZ that I no longer need and am willing to part with it, if anyone wants/needs it PM me to make arrangements.

4-No discussion or debate on any item or topics related to it is allowed in this thread.

5-Items MUST be either Flight Sim, aircraft, PC (as in PC hardware/software) or history related. For example... say you have a TIR1 that you don't want to sell.. (I gave mine away.. so did 99th_Obsidian) you just want to pay forward.. to turn someone on to the joys of TIR. You would post it in this thread. Say you have some old books or pictures that are warbird related.. or a copy of the original IL2 that you just don't really need/want. You can post it here. Say you have an older processor that you no longer need and really don't want to sell.. and you want to see if someone may have a need. You would post it here. I got my first 64bit processor that way and it was a big improvement over what I had at the time.



The reason this is called the pay it forward thread is... I have given away things to community members.. and I have received things from community members.. gratis. Just because. This thread is set up to spread the love. If it works great.. if it doesn't then it will be unstickied and allowed to fade away.

Thank ytareh for this idea. We will see how it works out. I have discussed this with Ms K & the other mods.. and everyone is on board as long as it doesn't cross the lines stated above.
