I wonder if they are aware of the *ahem* enthusiasm of the flight sim community. Happy

No word yet on weapon grouping on the stick or reticle type for the windshield canopy.

I can see the input setting threads pop up here if they ever started to manufacture this in new cars lol

If they build an accelerator switch that mimics my Mom's driving habits, push button for full throttle, let go for brakes...

I heard many years ago, maybe longer than a decade, that this was being worked on for cars. Think of the steering response with something like this. Even braking can be done more quickly I would think.

It could be done now because of ABS etc. But imagine trying to modulate the brakes with a button, or limited travel flappy thing?

Have you ever tried playing a racing game with a joystick btw? Doesn't work very well. I find it next to impossible to correct loss of traction in the rear wheels during over steer with a joystick. This idea has been done before, for disabled people.

You don't want faster and imprecise response for steering, you want precision and subtlety. Maybe this is from my karting days I don't know.

There would most certainly be some sort of computerized control on something like this. Imagine being able to turn your steering wheel lock to lock and back again in a fraction of a second. That wouldn't be so good.
