When she dies I'm going to throw a fireworks party and burn an effigy of her on a bonfire, you know all in the name of good taste.

You ain't the only one, old chum.

Got to go and flip some burgers now, will return tomorrow a.m. with tales of how that maniac's policies led to aid workers from Uganda & Belarus amongst others working on the streets of Great Britain.

Cheers for now.

For all her faults, and she had many,I was never richer than when she was in charge.

Except for being partly responsible for the economy crashing to the floor in 1992.... Tongue

She didn't need to be a psycho to rebuild the economy, it could have been done without her.

Actually I thought of opening a thread titled:

If Saffron Burrows contested Gordon Brown for leadership of Labour and PM office

but that question seems waayyy to easy ...

Excuse for diverting this thread, couldn't help.

Oh yes, that one.

She taught a lot of people how to be greedy and care less for everyone else.

I have no respect for that woman.

Just cos she sent brave men to die on the Falklands doesn`t make her a wonderful person, but war always lets bad leaders off the hook. If it hadn`t been for that war she would`ve been out faster than a sheep being sheared by an Aussie!

That woman caused a lot of HONEST people grief, not least my young wife, self and my baby at the time.

Sorry about the problems she caused SF. Ironic as the Falklands thing was said to have been started by the Argentine junta to get them off the hook as they were in trouble too. They lost and fell, some of them went on trial IIRC. and many Argentine soldiers, sailors and airmen were dead for nothing.

Britain won, thanks to the sacrifice of British soldiers, sailors and airmen and Thatcher benefited and kept her post. Sad

Considering her stance towards Germany and how she tried to hinder geman reunification, my sympathies for this woman are non existant. Add to that neutering Britain into a pure service society, there is not a lot good to say about her legacy.

Christ on a stick, I thought the old bat was dead. You mean she's still creeping around giving people the willies? Man, I've got to pay more attention.

A whole generation of Northern Englanders who grow up in the 80's jobless/on the breadline will rejoice when she finally bites the Bullet.

Words fail me when i try to write my feelings towards this woman, so i'll just say i'm not a fan.

And like Ploughman, thought she had kicked the bucket, or was i having a vivid dream, if they put up a statue of her, i'll be the one over feeding the pigeons around that statue.

The name Margaret Thatcher needs to become a c0ckney rhyming slang for something thats not very nice.
